Questions
What file format are the laser files?
SVG. Open them in LightBurn, the Glowforge app, xTool Creative Space, Inkscape or Illustrator, and they also import into Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio (Business Edition).
Which lines cut and which lines score?
Red (#FF0000) lines are cuts and blue (#0000FF) lines are score/engrave. Assign them by color in your laser software. Some files also include an optional black raster fill that you can skip if it looks muddy.
What wood works best for ornaments?
3 mm birch plywood (or maple) gives crisp score lines and ornaments light enough to hang on any branch. Test on scrap first.
Will anything be shipped to me?
No. Every design is an instant digital download from Etsy. You supply the wood and the laser.
Can I sell what I make?
No. The files are for personal use only: make pieces for yourself, your home and gifts you give. Selling finished items, or sharing or reselling the files, isn’t allowed.
